NLCS Hong Kong Marks Key Milestone Towards Opening

NLCS Hong Kong has marked an exciting milestone in the continued growth of the NLCS family of schools and the beginning of its journey towards opening in September 2027.

A launch event brought together colleagues, partners and distinguished guests from across the wider NLCS community to celebrate the vision for the school’s future. Among those in attendance were Vicky Bingham, Headmistress of NLCS in the UK, Daniel Lewis, Managing Director of NLCS International, representatives from HOEH Group, Brian Davidson CMG, British Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao, Old North Londoners (ONLs) now living in Hong Kong and representatives of the Man Kiu Association and the Confucian Academy.

The presence of current staff and former pupils of the NLCS community reflected the strong connections that unite the family of schools across generations and around the world. Guests heard from representatives of NLCS, our partners and the British Consul General, while also learning more about the plans for NLCS Hong Kong and the opportunities it will bring to future students and families.

As the newest member of the NLCS family, NLCS Hong Kong will draw on more than 175 years of educational heritage while embracing the unique character and cultural richness of Hong Kong. Developed in partnership with HOEH Group, the school will provide an academically ambitious education within a supportive and inclusive community, preparing students for success both in school and beyond.

Students will also benefit from being part of the wider NLCS family of schools, with opportunities to build connections and collaborate with peers across an international network united by shared values and a coherent educational ethos.

NLCS Hong Kong is currently undergoing the school registration process with the Education Bureau. The school is planning to welcome its founding students and families in September 2027, subject to approval.

Families interested in learning more can register their interest via the NLCS Hong Kong website, where they can sign up to receive updates on the school’s development and future events.
