Daniel Lewis joins NLCS International as Chief Commercial Officer

NLCS International is delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Lewis as our new Chief Commercial Officer. Dan brings a wealth of experience in global education, leadership, and strategic development, along with a long-standing connection to North London Collegiate School that makes his return particularly meaningful.

Dan began his NLCS journey in 2002 when he first joined North London Collegiate School in the United Kingdom as a teacher. He was appointed as Deputy Head in 2010 and led the establishment of NLCS Jeju. During his six years in that role he strengthened the school’s academic ambition, its commitment to pastoral excellence, and its culture of curiosity and scholarship. His leadership supported the development of programmes that broadened pupils’ experiences and enriched the life of the school. For the UK school, he also led the provision of Professional Development and the School’s Marketing and Development functions.

His dedication to the School’s ethos led him to Dubai in 2016, where he became the Founding Principal of NLCS Dubai. In this role Dan oversaw the establishment of the school from its earliest stages, shaping its identity. The foundations he helped lay in Dubai continue to define the school’s reputation for high aspiration, character development, and a warm and inclusive international community.

After his time in Dubai, Dan expanded his expertise across a wider global context. As CEO of RS Academics International from 2019 to 2021, he supported schools and governing bodies around the world with strategic planning, governance, and leadership development. In 2021 he joined the Repton Family of Schools as Managing Director, where he played a central role in the growth and oversight of a diverse group of international schools, deepening his understanding of large-scale operations and partnership management. In this time he also supported Repton’s UK expansion, bringing Vinehall School into the Repton family and serving as Chair of Governors of both St Wystan’s School and Vinehall.

Dan will bring to the role a rich blend of operational insight, strategic vision, and firsthand experience of leading an NLCS school overseas. His appointment marks an exciting moment for our organisation as we continue to develop our global network and work with partners who share our commitment to excellence in all aspects of education.
